I loved capturing this anniversary session with Khadeeja & Mohamad. When we first started chatting about this session in December, there were so many possibilities! With Khadeeja & Mohamad traveling to DC from Pittsburgh for this session we had loads of locations to choose from. Ultimately we ended up with a Sunrise morning at the Lincoln Memorial.
Their wedding day in January 2020 was beautiful, but filled with lots of rain. So of course as we watched the weather forecast leading up to the session as the experts (really?) started to call for rain, we knew it was right. We did have a rainy night leading into our session together but just as we were set to start shooting the skies dried and we were able to move forward as originally planned.
