After years of writing these lists in my calendar for only my eyes , I’m finally putting my bucket list wedding venues out into the world! These are the venues where I’ve been aching to photograph a real wedding. Any chance you’ll help me check one off this list??
Inn at Perry Cabin – Saint Michaels, MD
This breathtaking waterfront venue in Maryland has been on my watch list for so many years, with a summer Hampton’s charm in all the event spaces your wedding day will be filled with elegance and romance in a venue that any S&C couple would deserve.
Washington National Cathedral – Washington D.C.
What little girl growing up in D.C. doesn’t dream of her wedding day on the first Saturday in June at the National Cathedral. This timeless venue is full of beautiful gardens, breathtaking architecture, and spiritual soul for your wedding ceremony & portraits.
O’Byrne Gallery at DAR Constitution Hall – Washington D.C.
If you have followed my work for any amount of time, you know I love a wedding venue with columns COLUMNS! The O’byrne gallery offers such pure beauty and as a bright and clear slate every wedding held here is magical!
Stone Tower Winery – Leesburg, VA
I have had the chance to photograph several engagement sessions and even a surprise proposal at Stone Tower Winery, but not the chance to photograph a full wedding day. The full property is perfectly curated for the guest’s experience with out loosing the beauty of the rolling vineyards.
Larz Anderson House – Washington D.C.
The most beautiful old world wedding venue with in D.C. I have dreamed of these natural tones, and touches of green for my wedding couples for years. I have even dreamed of renewing my own wedding vows in such a location.
A CHATEAU… IN FRANCE… OR ITALY… OR ANYWHERE IN EUROPE (GREECE!!)
This one is pretty obvious. Shooting a destination wedding in Europe would be a dream come true. The history – the textures – the natural beauty of the property. I can’t think of a more romantic setting.
