Stone Tower Winery | Leesburg, VA

Any time I get to shoot at a new location, I’m a happy photographer, especially when that location is Stone Tower Winery. I have been wanting to photograph a couple at this gorgeous vineyard in Leesburg since my own bachelorette weekend was hosted here back in 2017. But sadly I hadn’t had the opportunity to go back or shoot there until Ariel and Rob’s session last week. I was so excited they mentioned it and that it worked out so perfectly!

When I showed up a few minutes early to location scout, I was blown away. There are so many sitting areas on the property and both patios are absolute perfection. The barn is a little walk away from the main tasting room. It was the most magical early summer morning and they had the doors open to serve wine. Everyone was thoroughly enjoying the couches and string lights hanging above them as they looked out at the view. It made me want to go back the next time I’m up in Northern Virginia, for sure!

Photographing Ariel and Rob last week was definitely the highlight of my weekend, though. These two are young and in love and they have the sweetest relationship. I love connecting with my couples at the engagement session and it wasn’t hard to do that with these two. Their beautiful smiles and joy made me giddy to have a job that fills me up.
