Catherine and Johnny couldn’t have picked a more perfect Virginia Beach wedding venue for their day—simply classic and timeless. It was important to the couple for their guests to enjoy a relaxed day without a lot of driving around, and having both the ceremony and reception at The Cavalier Beach Club’s water front sister property the Marriott definitely provided that experience for them!
Of course with COVID restrictions Catherine & Johnny were not fully sure until just 2 weeks before their wedding that they would even be able to host a wedding ceremony with their closest friends. But the planning team on site was amazing and at the last minute pulled it all together for an intimate ceremony and reception for 25 of Catherine & Johnny’s favorite people on the oceanfront lawn.
One of my favorite things that couples are doing in the new COVID wedding days is taking that remaining budget they had planned for with more guests and putting it into the details! Catherine chose to invest more in the breathtaking floral arrangements and boy was it WORTH IT!
