I’m thrilled to share Kelly and Peter’s Chesapeake Bay Beach Club wedding on the blog! This April wedding was one of my favorites of 2021, and it’s all because of Kelly and Peter. I really connected with these two. They placed complete trust in me as their photographer, and this is the ultimate honor in this job. It truly allows me to relax and do my best work.
Peter is actually a fellow photographer! He shoots nature and landscape photos for a local magazine. Let me tell you, having a fellow photographer hire you as their photographer is the ultimate compliment. He felt 100% free and comfortable with my direction. It was amazing!
Kelly is a middle school teacher and lives in the heart of Annapolis. Family is at the root of everything she does. She loved to talk photography with me, and I loved how passionate they were about their families and careers.
As a couple, Kelly and Peter love being outdoors. They really love water sports and living up life in a small (ish) historic waterfront town. They love to have drinks in downtown, go on historic walks, and road trip to remote water access points.
The mood of Kelly and Peter’s day was like a college game tailgate party with the best of family and friends. Their wedding party was amazingly upbeat and supportive all day. Everyone from far and close was so excited to spend a day on the Chesapeake Bay to celebrate the couple.
We used every possible location on the property for their portraits. The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club offers so many different backdrops – from buildings to greenery to waterfront. We were able to capture so much variety in a small amount of time.
The couple incorporated some beautiful personal touches to their wedding day to make it even more sentimental. Kelly carried her grandmother’s hankie in her flowers so she would feel her presence on her big day. Peter’s groomsmen (the couple’s brothers) also did a before ceremony toast to their grandfather with the father of the groom. These sweet touches really add to the emotion and beauty of a wedding day. Sentimental touches make a wedding day unique to each couple.
Thank you again to Kelly and Peter for letting me be a part of this beautiful wedding day at the Bay Beach Club. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness!

What Kelly and Peter had to say about working with Silverbridge & Co:
“Erica is an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. As a fellow photographer, we clicked instantly. Her specialty is photographing you with the surrounding scenery. She is fantastic at giving directions where they are needed and makes shoots more like a fun outing than an engagement photo session.”
“While we were getting ready for the wedding, Erica was so helpful in planning the portraits and shots we wanted to get throughout the day. On the day of the wedding, Erica basically became a family member and made it extra special as she helped everyone relax and have fun. Living in Annapolis and having our wedding outside next to the Chesapeake Bay, she did an incredible job capturing us in our favorite places and our happiest moments. Erica is the only pro we will ever use from now on. Thank you again for everything.”
