Samatha and Doug tied the knot on Oct 3, 2021 at their 1757 Golf Club wedding with a fully traditional Jewish ceremony. If I had to describe this wedding in one word, it would be enchanting. When you walked into a room you were filled with feelings of love, and tradition.
I had the pleasure of photographing at 1757 Golf Club four times in 2021, but there was just something about Samantha and Doug’s day that I had to share. This couple was just so adoring to each other.
The couple met on a dating app where Sam’s profile listed “seeking Jewish Buckeye for a lifetime together,” and Doug answered the call. As a couple they live and work in the heart of D.C. with their adorable pup.Sam is the sweetest soul you will ever meet. You can see from their photos that her smile just radiates kindness. Doug was my most detailed groom ever. He was so involved in all of the planning. I loved getting off a timeline review call with Sam and Doug, because I knew everything was organized with Doug at the helm.
Here are some of my favorite images from Sam and Doug’s wedding at 1757 Golf Club. Enjoy!
