Engagement season is in full swing around here! Did you know that 38% of all engagements happen between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day? This fills my early weeks of each year with lots of engagement sessions! Megan and Andrew’s college campus engagement photos are some of my all time favorites!

Megan and Andrew met at UVA a few years back, so it was only perfect that we planned their entire session on the grounds where they met. I had so much fun walking around campus with them while talking about wedding plans and learning all about their life together! 

We selected a quiet fall Sunday morning to capture these images. We couldn’t have gotten more beautiful colors to work with! It’s days like this with couples like Megan and Andrew that makes me fall in love with being a photographer all over again! A morning filled with giggles and nostalgia. Being at UVA is always a treat. The beautiful buildings and mountain air just have a different feel to it. 

Once I started photographing Megan and Andrew, I never wanted to stop! Their joy and love is so clearly evident, and they were truly naturals in front of the camera. Now they’re just months away from getting MARRIED in Old Town Alexandria! I can hardly wait for their wedding day – I know it’s going to be an absolute dream.
