If 2020 taught me anything in my own business it was really how important community really is. Yeah I have a team of second shooters that I call on when I need a second set of hands on a wedding day or at a session, but if COVID-19 showed us anything we need a team and systems in place for when the un-thinkable comes along. We need a clear way to still service our couples that allows us to also rest easy when the times are the toughest.

Catherine and Johnny couldn’t have picked a more perfect Virginia Beach wedding venue for their day—simply classic and timeless. It was important to the couple for their guests to enjoy a relaxed day without a lot of driving around, and having both the ceremony and reception at The Cavalier Beach Club definitely provided that experience for them!

I absolutely love every time a past wedding couple chooses to have anniversary session in celebration of completing their first year as husband & wife! With the first traditional gift for the first anniversary being paper, a portrait session, resulting in beautiful photographic prints, is the perfect gift! Guys, this november day was just amazing with light! Normally my favorite day to shoot at Libby Hill Park is an overcast. I mean which photographer doesn’t love an overcast day? BUT this mid-November day was warm, beautiful, and full sun beautiful!
