A beautiful couple tying the knot on a rooftop in the heart of DC?! Carrington and Bobby’s Capitol View at 400 wedding day was a photographer’s dream. I love rooftop wedding days!

You can take one look at Carrington and Bobby together and just know that they are a perfect match. Carrington is a school teacher who just finished her Master’s degree. Bobby is a die-hard Michigan State University fan and he lets you know it! These two have travel in their blood, and they took an amazing honeymoon to Greece after their wedding day. It looked absolutely magical.

When you have a wedding in downtown Washington DC, there are so many possible portrait locations. For Carrington and Bobby’s day, the couple allowed lots of time for us to walk and explore the blocks around the venue for more DC portraits. I absolutely loved having time to explore with them and choose multiple great backdrops for their portraits.

The vibe of their wedding day could only be described as FUN! You can see for yourself in their wedding video. There was not a worry in the world. It was time to celebrate and enjoy what years of planning finally brought together.
