Faithbrooke Barn & Vineyards | Luray, VA
On my birthday weekend this year, I headed up to Luray, VA with Aurelia Studios (that bestie photographer I am always talking about) to Faithbrooke Barn and Vineyards for Chrissy and Ali’s wedding. It was SOOOO hot in Virginia this year and the first weekend of Autumn didn’t supply any relief to that heat. But looking at both beautiful brides you would have no idea it was 90+ outside!
Faithbrooke Barn and Vineyards is a gorgeous place to get married! With a beautiful barn bursting with natural light due to a full wall of windows that overlooks the fall sunsets behind the mountain. The ceremony site has views of the rolling vineyards and the mountains adding to this picturesque backdrop. I quickly fell in love with this venue and their day-of-coordinator, Brandon. She was a breeze to work with, she had her schedule and her branded water. What more could you need to keep a wedding on track?
Chrissy and Ali have been together for years, and their family and friends were so excited to finally see them tie the knot. I knew I loved them as a couple when I first met them last year when I drove up to Penn State with Ashley from Aurelia Studios to photograph there Engagement Session in the rain! I have to say, Ali and I are smartass soulmates! You can’t toss any comment toward us without either or both of us handing it back to you right there.
And because they are cool humans, they’ve surrounded themselves with other cool humans. I know for a fact that I haven’t laughed so hard at a ceremony or maid of honors toasts at any other wedding. Their friends really know them, love them, and know-how to make them laugh. I ended this perfect night with the first dance in front of the full-length glass wall for that iconic image. Now I want to photograph more weddings at this beautiful venue so future Faithbrooke Barn brides…let’s chat about this! 🙂
