A Dallas Wedding Ceremony
The day commenced at the beautiful Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church, a venue brimming with sentimental value as it is where Becca’s father serves as a minister. Surrounded by their cherished loved ones, the couple exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony that marked the commencement of their lifelong journey together. Despite the surprise cold front that swept through Dallas, dropping temperatures to the teens, the atmosphere remained warm and joyous. The guests embraced the chilly weather with enthusiasm, radiating excitement as they celebrated Becca and Tyler’s love.
The wedding party looked absolutely stunning, elegantly dressed in black tie attire that added a touch of sophistication to the day. The carefully chosen color palette of black, white, gold, and touches of maroon enhanced the overall elegance of the celebration.
A Museum Wedding Venue
Following the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration seamlessly transitioned to the Frontiers of Flight Museum. This venue, thoughtfully selected by Becca and Tyler, perfectly blended their love for travel with their strong family ties. The reception space was adorned with golden accents, and a stunning cake featuring a gold map of the world became a visual centerpiece, symbolizing their shared adventures.
One of my most unforgettable moments of the day occurred during the couple’s final dance. As the song gracefully came to an end, Becca and Tyler, in a magical gesture, bowed to each other—reminiscent of Belle and the Beast in Becca’s favorite childhood Disney movie. This fairy-tale-like moment fulfilled Becca’s dream of dancing like her favorite princess on her wedding day, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the celebration.

Becca and Tyler’s journey to finding me as their photographer was serendipitous. Living in DC at the time, they were referred to me by another couple who shared their passion for planes. Little did we know that they were planning their wedding just minutes away from my husband’s aunt’s home in Dallas. It was a perfect match, and our collaboration began seamlessly, starting with their engagement session at The Kennedy Center.
