Fawn Lake Country Club Wedding | Lily + Kevin

Lily and Kevin’s Fawn Lake Country Club wedding is on the blog today! If I had to describe this wedding to someone, I would say relaxed and warm. Those are the best kind of weddings, aren’t they?! While I love a huge party too, sweet, intimate, calm weddings are so incredibly special.

From the moment I met Lily and Kevin that their worlds revolve around their family and friends. Despite getting married in August of 2021, the couple was still highly concerned about the Covid-19 pandemic. They were very selective on who they welcomed to their reception, and it was the top of the tops. This made for a sentimental and intimate vibe throughout the day.

The couple’s venue, Fawn Lake Country Club, is gorgeous, and I loved how close it was to my home! Their ceremony was located right on the water of a gated community. They were blessed with the most perfect weather for the day as well. It was truly stunning.

To honor her family’s cultural traditions, Lily wore two different dresses on her wedding day. The American traditional white dress, and a red one for the reception. Both were drop-dead gorgeous and looked amazing on her. I’m especially in love with her red dress. It makes me wish we saw more color in American weddings!
