Three generations of strong independent women in one photo? Ummm… Yes please! I met Sam last year during my Holiday Mini Sessions. When she reached out to me this year with the idea of generational family photos including her sister, mother, & Gran, I was all in! I have wanted to do a portrait session on the waterfront in Alexandria, and I knew this was the session for it. The lines, the colors, the light. It all makes me so happy.

I showed up to our session ready to showcase these beautiful women in all their natural light. That Sunday, I elected to wear my Boston t-shirt, because you know your girl is all about manifesting a business trip (wedding, portraits, styled shoot I’m in) to Boston in the coming year! It was brought to my attention that both Samantha’s sister & mother had flown in for the weekend specifically for this photo session! Also, the little sis had come from BOSTON! 🤩

Our short generational family photos session was filled with lots of laughs and even more fun. We used every bit of this little 20’x20′ section on the waterfront to its full potential. I really love all the great families and couples my yearly mini sessions have brought in front of my camera.
