I’ve been over here these past few weeks busily trying to brainstorm ALL of the FUN details that’ll go into the my Holiday mini sessions! And y’all…I’m so happy to say…these are going to be GREAT!
To help in your pre-planning I’m going to answer a lot of the questions I’ve been getting about the upcoming Holiday mini sessions! But if I missed anything, or if you have more questions about mini sessions, please contact me directly via email at Erica@silverbridgeco.com
Q: ARE MINI SESSIONS JUST FOR FAMILIES?
A: Of course not mini sessions are a great for couples, children, pets, announcements & more. It’s also a great time to get a few updated photos & that perfect portrait for the holiday cards.
Q: WHAT ABOUT OUR FAMILY DOG?
A: Absolutely, pets are family too! Just make sure they’re on a leash (my favorite leash & collar choices come from The Foggy Dog!) as at our locations there could be other animals around.

Q: HOW MANY FAMILY MEMBERS CAN COME?
A: It’s always great to include your whole family, however the mini session price includes up to 6 people. Each additional person is $15. The larger the family the more time it takes to set every one up to capture those moments since we only have 15 minutes time is key. Depending on the size of a family we can extend the time slot to offer the same amount of image diversity as a family of 4 may receive. This additional fee per person over 6 allows for that time extension.
Q: HOW LONG WILL THE SESSION BE?
A: Each mini session is 15 minutes long. Which is perfect for littles!! They are so excited and pumped from the good pictures prep talk in the car and before they have time to get board we’re all done! Then they are off to the treat table for their own holiday cookies!
Rest assured I’m able to catch a lot of great images in that amount of time.
Q: WHAT IF WE ARE RUNNING BEHIND FOR THE SESSION?
A: Life happens and I totally understand that, but unfortunately due to this being a mini marathon, time being limited & other clients having scheduled times. If you are more than 5 minutes late your session will have to be rescheduled for another mini day. The registration fee is non-refundable. So please plan to arrive at least 5-10 minutes early.
Q: WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO OUR MINI SESSION IF IT RAINS?
A: First off we are going to use our powers of positive thinking to keep any rain clouds far away from our sessions. But since we can’t control Mother Nature’s mood swings, If we have to call any sessions for rain (including a muddy farm due to rain the night before) your session can be rescheduled to any other mini session dates.if you’re unable to attend the makeup day, then your session will be credited towards the purchase of a full session at a later date. There will be NO refunds for any mini session purchase.
Q: HOW MANY IMAGES DO I RECEIVE?
A: You’ll receive a viewing gallery with over 30 images inside. From that gallery you have 2 months to select your favorite 10 images and download them. For each image you want to keep over 10 you can purchase those downloads right from the gallery for $10 each.
What to purchase your whole gallery after our mini session? Then you’ll be able to purchase ALL of the photos for an extra $225.
Q: IS THERE A DISCOUNT IF I BUY THE WHOLE GALLERY BEFORE OUR SESSION?
YES! If you are anything like me and you know you will want the whole gallery of images you can purchase the gallery + mini session before we shoot and save $50 by pre-purchasing the full gallery.
Q: WILL THERE BE PROPS?
A: Of course! I plan to bring back the Blue Truck and add an additional set up for last years returning families. The farm also has a lot of natural charm with mini trees, grand Christmas trees, & golden grass!
Q: DO WE HAVE TO USE THE PROPS/SCENE FOR OUR PHOTOS?
A: There is NO PRESSURE to use the scenes and props that I have set up! So you won’t hurt my feelings if you don’t want to use them! What’s AMAZING about our location is that I can photograph BOTH scenes AND have a pretty natural field in the background as well!
Q: WHAT DOES INCREDIBLY FAST TURNAROUND REALLY MEAN?
A: For all my mini sessions I work really hard to have galleries for image selections back within 24-72 hours after your shoot. Earning it the name incredibly fast turnaround. Most local photographers give a turn around of weeks but I seriously prioritize your galleries, but blocking off set time immediately following each mini session series to deliver your selection gallery as soon as possible!
