During their engagement session, we explored the cobblestone streets, waterfront, and even stopped at Carlyle House. However, there was a small hiccup as we had planned to take advantage of the beautiful Cherry Blossoms around Old Town. But with a high wind storm the day before our session we lost access to a lot of the beautiful blooms. Fortunately, the weather for our session was ideal and beautiful so we changed our plan slightly and took in all that Old Town had to offer us.
The first signs of Spring drew crowds to bustling King Street on this warm afternoon. Many photographers roamed Old Town Alexandria during our engagement shoot, resulting in stiff competition. We snapped a few shots at my preferred locations, but chose to explore Old Town for more privacy. It was amazing how each corner had its unique charm. Sharing such a lovely evening with these two was a special experience. Although we had just met, their enjoyable nature made me feel as though we were longtime pals by the end.
