Erika and Luke’s Pennsylvania wedding in the heart of Amish country was so special to me. Not only did I get to be a Pennsylvania wedding photographer for a day, but also because of how Erika, Luke and I met!
You may remember the story from Erika and Luke’s Outer Banks engagement photos. In case you missed it, here’s a little recap! I was in the Outer Banks with my family for a quick summer vacation. My family and I stumbled on Erika and Luke on the beach attempting to take their own engagement photos with a tripod and iPhone. I couldn’t sit idly by as a professional wedding photographer and let this opportunity go to waste! My husband ran and grabbed my photography gear for me while I approached the couple and asked if I could help. I ended up shooting engagement photos for them on the beach and then Erika and Luke hired me for their wedding day! It was the perfect client/photographer meet cute!
Erika and Luke currently live in Northern Virginia, where I spend half of my weekends each year. However, they tied the knot at Stoltzfus Farmstead and Gardens in Pennsylvania. It was so fun to have the opportunity to travel for a wedding and shoot somewhere new!
I truly believe fate brought me and this couple together. Thank you, Erika and Luke, for bringing me in to be your wedding photographer in Pennsylvania for the day and allowing me to capture your love!
