Esther and Norman’s Springfield Manor Winery wedding was absolutely stunning. I could not get over the view and how perfect these two look together. I walked away from their wedding day feeling a profound respect and admiration for their love and their family and friends.
Springfield Manor Winery has the most amazing views! There were so many gorgeous backdrops for photos. It lightly rained through the entire ceremony and family portraits to follow. However, this rain made for some beautiful haze across the hills. I loved how the bright coral color palette popped against the slightly overcast backdrops.
Norman is the quiet but studying type. Esther is bright and bubbly. They are both so rooted in their culture and family, it’s magical! I loved how they incorporated their culture and traditions into their wedding day to make it unique.
I asked Norman and Esther about some of the unique personal touches they planned to incorporate into their day, and these were their responses!
First, 囍 means “double happiness” in Chinese. It’s a traditional Chinese ornament design, commonly used as a decoration symbol of marriage. Both their parents are Chinese and Esther was born in Taiwan, so it’s a way of bringing in their cultures together for the wedding day.
Also, they had crocheted duckies featured throughout the wedding. The couple talked about geese and ducks during their first date and have continued to get into bird watching since COVID started. Esther is also into crocheting “amigurumi” (stuffed crocheted things). You can see these featured in some of their photos!
This Springfield Manor Winery wedding was truly an honor to be a part of and a blast to photograph! Check out some of my favorite images below.
