Katie and Daniel’s wedding at Springfield Manor was the perfect celebration of spring—filled with joy, intention, and deeply personal touches that reflected their love story beautifully. From the earliest blooms in the lavender fields to the mountain views stretching behind the historic estate, their day felt like a soft exhale into the season of new beginnings.
With its soft architecture, early spring light, and scenic mountain views, Springfield Manor set a peaceful, romantic tone for the day. Even though the lavender fields were just beginning to bud, the property still offered timeless, natural charm that elevated both the experience and the photos.
If you’re searching for a venue that blends elegance with nature, Springfield Manor is well worth considering. Its versatile grounds and dreamy light make it an ideal setting for wedding photography in any season.
As two teachers, Katie and Daniel wove their personalities into the celebration in both heartfelt and playful ways. For example, their seating chart was crafted using pencils and lined paper—a clever nod to their shared profession that made guests smile the moment they saw it.
Katie’s love of K-pop truly came to life during the reception. The Maid of Honor surprised the couple with a life-sized K-pop star cutout during her toast, which immediately lit up the room with laughter. Even better, the couple had custom K-pop and Pokémon cards designed using their engagement photos and handed them out to friends. These creative and intentional details made the evening unforgettable.
The ceremony was deeply emotional and spiritually grounded. Every moment reflected the couple’s undeniable bond. It felt like the world was catching up to what their loved ones already knew—Katie and Daniel were meant to be.
Choosing to do a first look gave us the flexibility to photograph portraits and extended family before the ceremony. This decision created space for the couple to truly enjoy their day. They were able to mingle, laugh, and soak up each moment without feeling rushed.
Later that night, they surprised everyone with a Roman bar for late-night snacking. It was a thoughtful touch and quickly became one of the reception’s most talked-about highlights.
From start to finish, the reception was full of joy, dancing, and memorable moments. The Maid of Honor’s toast—with its perfect mix of humor, heart, and a K-pop cutout—stood out as a favorite. Meanwhile, the Roman bar sealed the evening with a fun, unexpected twist. Guests were energized, delighted, and stayed on the dance floor well into the night.
Working with Katie and Daniel was such a gift. They were warm, genuine, and kind from start to finish. Photographing their wedding felt less like work and more like being invited into something sacred. Their chemistry was natural, their community was welcoming, and the day was full of light in every sense.
