Colleen and Kurtis had a beautiful spring UVA Alumni Hall Wedding on grounds of the University in Charlottesville, Virginia! They took inspiration for their wedding day from the University of Virginia itself, elegant, classic and timeless! I loved Colleen and Kurtis’s story of first meeting during school at UVA, and realizing they were meant to be when they reconnected after a short time apart focusing on their own careers.
Before heading into the UVA Gardens for their ceremony, Colleen surprised Kurtis with a sweet first look on the lawn. We love photographing a bride and her groom just before walking down the aisle! After their garden wedding ceremony, the Rotunda was our first stop for some amazing wedding portraits! Thankfully we had plenty of time before the ceremony, so we were able to photograph at all of their favorite spots, including the UVA Chapel of course.
The celebration continued as we moved to UVA’s Alumni Hall for their reception. We adored the details of the wedding reception! They used childhood photos from each age to correspond with the table number! Everything was beautifully designed and planned by one of our favorite wedding planners, Cristelle with C&O Restaurant! I loved being a part of Colleen and Kurtis’s UVA Alumni Hall Wedding and wish them all the best as they start their new life together!
