Alena and Dylan opted to take their Virginia engagement photos at Alena’s parents’ new house. The family has spent the last year renovating and restoring every inch of the property to its original glory before their wedding on June 4, 2022. Their wedding ceremony will take place under the grand tree you see in the photos below. Then, they will host the reception under a large, glamorous tent in the lovely backyard garden. How dreamy, right?! There’s something about a backyard garden wedding that is so romantic.

I’ve been loving the trend of more intimate, small weddings. Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, more couple have come around to the idea of smaller or non-traditional wedding days.

Alena and Dylan are currently living out of state. However, they traveled up to Virginia on a fall Saturday for their engagement photos. Alena is a unapologetic beauty that loves life and knows how to enjoy it. Dylan is a no non-sense kind of guy and will talk to you straight. Not to mention, he is head over heels for all of Alena’s excitement!
