Alexandria, Virginia Fall Mini Sessions

As an Alexandria, VA family photographer, Old Town Alexandria is one of my favorite spots! My first fall mini sessions this year were photographed in Alexandria, and they were wildly successful! We had such a beautiful day. The weather was a perfect 61 degrees with a bright sunny afternoon.

These fall mini sessions in Old Town Alexandria consisted of new and returning families. One was actually a very recent wedding couple! I had a great time on the cobble streets of Alexandria getting to meet and interact with all the new families. This was my first year offering mini sessions in Alexandria, Virginia so there weren’t a lot of memory lanes to walk down with these sessions. However, I am really looking forward to revisiting these sessions next year with some repeat families.

I had several families travel from all over Northern Virginia to these fall mini sessions in Alexandria, Virginia. I mean many of the families said it was a no-brainer for them to travel the distance for these sessions when the setting was just so beautiful.

The spot I chose for Old Town Alexandria, Va minis is historically beautiful. I fell in love with it the moment I turned down this unique alleyway earlier in the month. It is part of a very popular part of town, but still preserved in time with its historic charm of the ivy covered walls and cobblestone street. I think it is safe to say that you will see more photos from this location in the future.

Overall, these first fall mini sessions were great. There were lots of little smiles, a few extra paw prints, and lots of updated family photos created. I enjoyed this Alexandria, Virginia fall mini schedule so much, I have already decided to host another fall mini day in Alexandria again in 2023.
